Terms of Service

The plain-language agreement between ZNZ Systems and the companies that use Ringmaster. Read it with the Privacy Policy, which says how we handle data.
  1. 01Who we are and what these terms cover

Ringmaster is a lifecycle email service provided by ZNZ Systems Ltd ("ZNZ", "we"), Magnolia House, 11 Spring Villa Road, Edgware HA8 7EB, United Kingdom. These terms are the agreement between ZNZ and the company that creates a Ringmaster organization ("you"). The person who accepts them confirms they may bind that company.

Ringmaster is for businesses. It is not offered to consumers.

  2. 02Your account

Keep the details you give us accurate, including your company's postal address, which Ringmaster prints in every email you send.

You are responsible for everything done with your organization: by the people you invite, by the API keys you make, and by the AI agents and other software you connect to Ringmaster with your tokens or your sign-in. Keep keys and tokens secret, and revoke any that may have leaked.

  3. 03Plan, price and payment

Ringmaster has one plan at a flat US$300 a month, plus any tax that applies. It includes the monthly email volume shown when you subscribe; we will agree any higher volume with you in advance.

Stripe takes payment for us. Your plan renews each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and the plan runs to the end of the month you paid for. We do not refund part months, except where the law requires it.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a while and Ringmaster keeps sending meanwhile. If it still fails, your plan ends and Ringmaster stops sending until you subscribe again. We give at least 30 days' notice by email before we change the price.

  4. 04How you may use Ringmaster

You send email only to people who agreed to hear from you or with whom you have another lawful basis, and you follow the laws that apply to your email, such as CAN-SPAM in the US, PECR and the UK GDPR in the UK, the GDPR in the EU and CASL in Canada.

You do not send to bought, rented or scraped lists. You do not send spam, phishing, malware, or anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful. You do not try to get around unsubscribes, suppressions, sending limits or another customer's data.

Ringmaster adds an unsubscribe link and your postal address to every email and honours every unsubscribe. Mail goes out through a sending service ZNZ shares among its customers, so we watch bounce and complaint rates. Ringmaster pauses an organization's sending automatically when they pass safe limits, and we may pause it ourselves when we see abuse. We tell you why.

  5. 05Your data

You own the content you put into Ringmaster and the data about your audience: profiles, events, consent and the email you design. You give ZNZ permission to store and process it only to run Ringmaster for you, as your processor, on your instructions, and as the Privacy Policy and the data processing terms in it describe.

You are responsible for having the right to send us that data and to email the people in it. You can erase a person from Ringmaster at any time through the API, which removes their profile, events and sends.

  6. 06Our part

We work to keep Ringmaster available, secure and correct, and we tell you about incidents that affect your data without undue delay. Ringmaster is provided as it is: we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that every email will be delivered, because inbox providers decide that.

We use other companies to run Ringmaster, such as our hosting, email delivery and payment providers. The Privacy Policy lists them.

  7. 07Suspension and ending

We may suspend sending, or your organization, if you break these terms, if your payment fails for good, or if your sending puts other customers or recipients at risk. Where we can, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

You may stop using Ringmaster at any time by cancelling your plan. After your plan ends your organization's data stays in Ringmaster, unsent, so you can come back. Ask us and we send you a copy, or delete it within 30 days, except what the law makes us keep, such as invoices.

  8. 08Liability

Neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data, however it arises. Each party's total liability under these terms in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid ZNZ in those 12 months.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.

  9. 09Changes and law

We may update these terms. We tell you by email at least 30 days before a change that affects you takes effect, and the version you accepted stays in force until then. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts settle any dispute.
